Upofloor Estrad

Maintenance

Estrad, Estrad dB, Estrad Plano & Podium Naturale

Initial cleaning
Remove any loose dirt with a mop or a vacuum cleaner. Wash carefully with a mild alkaline or alkaline detergent using a combination machine with red pads or a floor cleaning machine and a wet vacuum cleaner. Rinse carefully. Treat the cleaned floor with an SHS machine using dry puffing or with a maintenance care agent.

Polishing
Polishing is not necessary as the flooring has been PUR (polyurethane) treated in the factory.

Daily maintenance
Alternate dry/damp cleaning with wet cleaning methods. Regular treatment with a combination machine keeps the floor clean, and heavy basic cleaning can be avoided. Use a mild alkaline cleaning and maintenance care agent. You can also clean the floor with an SHS machine using a maintenance care agent. When necessary, cleaning with a stronger maintenance agent is recommended.

Basic cleaning
Clean the floor with an alkaline or mild alkaline detergent, depending on the type of soiling. Use a floor cleaning machine with red or blue pads. Rinse the floor carefully. Apply a maintenance care agent solution to the cleaned floor and treat the dry surface with an SHS machine. When necessary, localised polishing can be carried out on areas with most traffic.

Estrad ESD

Initial cleaning
Remove loose dirt through dry or damp cleaning. Clean the floor with a combination machine or a floor cleaning machine with red pads or with medium hard brushes. Use alkaline detergent containing glycols, such as a wax removal agent. Follow the product manufacturer's dosage guidelines.

Polishing
Estrad ESD floorings in health care premises are not recommended to be polished. You can treat the cleaned floor with an SHS machine together with a maintenance agent or by dry puffing. NB! The gloss level of the surface will increase considerably and permanently.

If you want to polish the floor for example in industrial premises, use one coat of ESD polish. A second coat of polish may change the conductivity of the flooring. Localised polishing is not recommended since layering the polish should be avoided.

Daily maintenance
Perform dry or damp cleaning. Increase dampness to clean hard-to-remove soiling. Use a combination machine to treat larger surfaces and an SHS machine to treat smaller surfaces. Use red pads in the machine. Use a mild alkaline cleaning and maintenance agent.

Basic cleaning
Wash heavily soiled floors with an alkaline solution or with a strong alkaline solution where necessary. Use a floor cleaning machine or a combination machine with red pads. Rinse carefully. When necessary, clean and dry floor can be treated with an SHS machine and a maintenance agent. After basic cleaning, polished floors can be treated with a one coat of ESD polish.
